Topic: Menopause – The Musical: Optimal use of Bio Identical Hormones in Menopause by Allan Warshowsky MD

Conference: Sex, Lies and Hormones - Cleveland, OH Sept. 20-23, 2012

Summary: Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been controversial since the Women’s Health Initiative study was stopped prematurely in July 2002. The hormones that were the subject of that study were conjugated equine estrogens and a synthetic progestin. This presentation "Menopause – The Musical: Optimal use of Bio Identical Hormones in Menopause" will teach the optimal use of bio-identical hormones in the treatment of menopausal symptoms and in optimizing health as women age.
